Xtream Codes or M3U?
Player apps accept your login in one of two ways:
- Xtream Codes API: a username, a password and a server URL. This is the easiest and loads the TV guide, films and series automatically. Use it if you can.
- M3U playlist: one long web link that contains your login. Useful for apps that do not support Xtream Codes.
Your welcome message from GoStream 4K includes the details you need.
Log in with Xtream Codes
- Open the app and choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Any name: type anything you like, such as GoStream.
- Username and password: copy them exactly from your welcome message.
- URL: enter the server address including
http://and the port number if there is one. - Press Add user and wait while the channels, guide, films and series load.
Log in with an M3U playlist
- Choose Load your playlist or file/URL.
- Give the playlist any name.
- Select M3U URL and paste the full link from your welcome message.
- Press Add user.
Using the TV guide
The electronic programme guide (EPG) shows what is on now and next. If it is empty after the first login, open Settings in the app, choose EPG and press refresh, or log out and back in.
Fixing login errors
- Invalid username or password: retype them. Login details are case-sensitive and a stray space breaks them.
- Cannot connect to server: check the URL includes
http://and the right port. - Too many connections: your plan's screen limit is reached. Close the app on another device or add a screen.

The player app is free to download on most devices. It does not include any content; you sign in with the login from your provider.
Is IPTV Smarters a provider?
No. It is only a player. The channels come from the service you subscribe to.
